Rock Tableaus

This body of work was born during the beginning of the pandemic as a way to cope with all of the chaos going on in the world and in my life. I would build them on my brick floor, photograph them and then deconstruct them as a way of learning to let go of things out of my control. All rocks are foraged by me in the New Mexican desert with the help of my dog Chuck who is always by my side. The wood is reclaimed wood from old buildings that were once a part of the New Mexico landscape.
